He is. Justintimes car is is an R50 though. If they can tune that that would make 4, unless there is someone who has signed on that I dont know about.

Just the normal stuff:
- make sure oil levels are good, check engine oil and change if needed.
- check your air filter
- check for leaks
- check the spark plugs

I see two shops in El Paso:
-Abcom Transmission plus
-Texas Hod Rods
-Western Technical college (don't think they'll let u use their dyno).

 

I've been trying to contact Speed Factory Tuning all day and the owner Rich hasn't returned my call. I call a few more shops but so far nothing. I getting frustrated!

So I just talked to one of the guys at Speed Factory tuning and he told me that he spoke to the owner during lunch and everything looked good for Saturday. He said that he would give me a call later today to go over the details.

Now I'm feeling better!

Well, I didn't get a call from tuning shop. Why give your word if you are not going to keep it. I'm calling them first thing in the morning. Be patient guys. We got a couple days.

 

I guess we have some time to get a hotel room near by--it's not like they will be all booked up!

hope we get the shop--although will they know what to do with a bunch of Minis that they've never dyno'd before...?
I remember going to a place in Alb that did Mustangs--they didn't know how to tie the Mini down and it was scary at 7000 rpm.

Well gentlemen I am pleased to announce that we are good to go for Saturday! Rich the owner of Speed Factory Tuning told me that they will open at 8:00 a.m. for us. The shop is located east of town. I will get the address as soon as they open today at 9:00 am El Paso time. Mike I will be sending the deposit shortly. As far as for the tuning shop we can pay him that day. He did not require a deposit. I hope everything works out good!
