why is everything such a mystery? my expansion tank and cap took a dump and i couldn't repair it as didn't bring a spare and susan's clutch burnt out she managed to get a 2:14 on street tires, suspention work and a tune. (no engine upgrades) and I got a 2:10 on 250whp, old hoosiers i had laying around on their last limp leg and first time being on the track. time to bring it back to my old power set up and get new r-comps and try again. so now you guys can continue on bashing on our cars or whatever you manage to do to ruin this forum.

p.s. feel free to comment on my spelling and punctuation i really don't care

Well said. You guys should see Susan and Danny run at SOW, maybe then you guys will realize what the cars are capeable of doing with the right driver and right performance mods. I am sure Danny can do well better then 2:10 and Susan won't be far behind.

I ran a 1:31 at SOW with crappy street tires. Can anybody guess what I would do with r-comps ? So becides a few of us with RMW goodies, I have not seen anybody else tearing up the track like we do.

Cant wait to get back out there again, I must admit when I went to the start line at Pomona and looked down the famous track I had read about for the last 30yrs, I realised that it was just a bit of 1320ft tarmac like we got in the UK.

But I will make an effort to go around some of these road courses when I'm next out there, you can relate to the videos a lot more then if you've experienced it yourself (allthough I'm a crap driver)

I had a feeling you'd love it up there Danny!

And the best part for me is... they'll let the convertible on the track, unlike SOW!

Sorry to hear you and Susan ran into problems... :(

Danny I don't think anyone in this forum was bashing your cars they just wanted to see what happened so if a cam is to be sent to someone , who the proper person would be . As there were five cars that pulled out for various reasons its not like your cars were the only ones with issues. As for spelling mine is pretty bad at times as well.

Sorry to hear your expansion tank broke and that Susan's clutch went (time for an LSD ). Since I left on Friday I didn't know what happened. I was sure that you were going to improve on your times Sat/Sun as you were still learning the track. Look forward to seeing you out there in the future

I purchased a Canton Racing expansion tank several years ago, but installation and fit were serious problems. Based on my experience, the folks at Canton modified the design of the tank, and, voila, the new tank fit properly---

I am most pleased with this radiator expansion tank, especially since I had been running on my 3d factory unit! Even though it does not have an external visual aid or indicator of fluid level, the periodic checking of the fluid level has not been a problem. The quality of the Canton tank is most impressive, and I highly recommend the product... [Disclaimer: I do not work for or represent Canton Racing].

Cheers,

Admit it you are a Canton fanboi Nice to see you around Bob. The Canton is a nice piece and I have had good results with the Forge Motorsports unit as well.

Do they give you all your different sector times on the day, so you can add all your best times and come up with your ideal lap?

Sure Paul, he just needs one of your $500 nitrous kit. Isn't that your answer for everything.

Thanks, but that was actually pretty far from consistent for me. Reason being is I was consistently getting held up by slower drivers In Blue 2 I didn't have one single clean lap, in Blue 3 I think I had 1 or 2 fairly clean laps...as shown by the 2:12.0, Blue 4 was my best...all the 2:20+ laps are cool down laps.

And no, none of Danny's times are Susan's.

BTW, check out this pic
