I never said anything about the actual performance of each car.. LOL japper made a valid point ? No sonny as usual japper opens his mouth about something he has no idea about and unfortunately he is used to speaking crap on the bandwagon forum and having it stick.. Maybe if he went outside his house once in a while and actually drove all these cars he seems to know an awful lot about As opposed to confusing his own opinion with fact!

So Ben why dont you calm down, dont jump the gun, when i am simply putting a little doggy back in its place!

Ok - just watched the video again, and the exhaust on that Mini sounds amazing.

BTW - can someone who speaks German translate what they were saying about the Mini?

Okay, it isn't laughable that an enormously powerful Porsche can walk over a MINI Cooper S, even modified. Come on, guys... sounds like the typical 350Z owner who thinks his car can destroy every vehicle on the market.

I wouldn't be pissed if I invested a few grand in mods on a car that isn't very fast to begin with and then get killed by a $80k+ track car. Come on... arguing is just silly here.

ps - and you need to remember that its a European car... so the quoted 235hp is actual BHP not WHP.... so 235 isnt really all that high. Probably more like 195/200 WHP (going off the typical mini drivetrain losses)
My guessing is the only mods it has are some sort of reflash and a turbo back exhaust... I cant see any intercooler through the grille thats for sure.
Either way... its a very good video - good find :D

Looking at the picture from the ad it looks like it has an intercooler fitted. Do agree with Futureal, it seems really to be a mild engine tune. nice suspension setup for the track though!

My point is that every 350Z owner I've met will not admit that his car can be beaten by another... they have very big heads... I'm not ashamed to admit that a 350Z might be able to beat my car. I'm proud I can keep up with one with my tiny 1.6L.

WoW- Whats the Fuss????

The video is really good. That woman is a great driver. She ran a van around the ring on "TOP GEAR" I don't know who the male driver was.
Both cars were great and really "They both handled great and were fun to watch running together."
As you all can plainly see on the video She enjoyed the Mini as much or a little more then driving the Porsche (MINI FUN VALUE)
This was just fun to watch and nothing to argue about which is a better car because both of these cars are really great performing cars and both are fun to drive.
Personaly, I could have any car I want but I chose a JCW Mini Cooper because it is probably (in my opinion) the best car for just having fun and it can still hold a lot of stuff when traveling or just going out shopping.
