I just bought a 2002 MCS JCW with a fair bit of work done on it. I know most of the items but I was hoping that you guys could help identify anything in the engine bay that is not stock.

Thanks. Any idea who makes the strut tower bar and ECU cover. I am fairly certain the cold air intake is custom made and the coolant tank (I didn't know it was for coolant) is made by Forge Motorsports.

I'd switch that strut bar out with something else. it looks like it scrapes the underside of your hood.

 

Why do you say that? It sits below the seals behind it.

As Kalbone said the strut tower is made by BMP / Pro Mini . The low profile ecu cover is also made by them . This was one of my first braces and it does rub the underside of the hood and gives a bit of a bulge to the back of the hood. No one really noticed until we started selling ours which did the same thing on some of the cars . It wasn't a big issue to me so I never worried about it . The aluminum coolant tank is by Forge Motorsports which I also have . It's a nice upgrade from the stock one which has a habit of leaking every so often.
