Minspeed.net order issues

Anyone have issues with minspeed.net? I ordered a itg replacement intake filter and a silicone intake hose! First the filter, there was no silicone connector included as was stated! Also the filter was small, about the size of a oversized coffee cup. Thinking the filter seemed to small I looked it up on itg.com and by there chart it is only good for cars up to 130hp!!! Next the silicone intake hose. It is a "venair''??? From the picture I thought it was a samco, well anyway the fitment is bad real bad!!!! I had to trim the crap out of that thing and to top it off the vent hose connector is at the wrong angle so it hits the intercooler hone. Safe to say I am not happy with my order!!! I was wondering if anyone else had similar experience.

MY Alta hose was tight fit as well. Had to wrestle the hell out of it to get it on. It too is tight up against the SC Horn....

Have you tried to contact them? I have ordered a few high dollar items from them, and have never had an issue. They've been great for me, and always communicated and updated me with info.

I would call Pete and talk to him directly. He's a great guy. I have done plenty of business with him. If there is one thing he's known for, is great customer service and quality parts.
Just give him a call.
But like i said, I have purchased %80 of my parts from him.
no complaints at all!

Do you have a picture of the fitment?
my alta hose was the same way.
maybe we could help.

does your filter look about this size?

If you checked on Venair's website, they are all oversize and cut to fit.

Mine fits perfectly.

Trimming the hose wasn't that hard, I just had to trim alot more than I expected. The itg filter is the JC62/60 and if you go to the link http://www.itgairfilters.com/airfilt...ection=maxogen
You will see the chart for the filters showing the filter is only rated @ 130hp! Also the total surface Area of the filter is ALOT less than the 172-inches of the K&N that came with my Helix intake.

Thanks for the input guys, seems like minspeed is a good company from the replies, must just be my luck LOL!!!

I've known Minspeed and Peter for some time and he's first rate.

You should give him call and talk with him (first).

Pete is currently enduring health related issues. However, I believe family members are at the helm of his business. Try calling the shop and see if you can get a hold of someone there
