Thats Johnnys car that Hubie worked on. These two guys got together & built an unbeileivable vehicle with meticulous attention to detail & Hubie's expierience of brut horsepower was a match made in Mega Mini heaven.

Now this is a great post.....

I can clearly remember the good ol days when you had nothing good to say about the twincharges Hubie did or anything else for that matter.... how they blew up all the time....Melting everything in the engine bay.... blah blah blah....... I'm sure we could dig up the posts but honestly...... who cares.... hypocrisy is the king here on NAM

Yea, I know I haven't talked to you in a while, but don't worry, i'll be calling you for some valve train hardware pretty soon.

Hope everything is good with you.

If you want to raise your post count, you have to bicker and banter on here and get into arguments instead of engineering high power MINIs.

As I said he has been doing it for longer than anyone , I didn't say he didn't have teething problems . Some of those Twin Charges setups did melt everything in the engine bay, I still have pictures of your Meltomatic This is a lot like fishing you lay the bait out there and they bite

Blasphemer! Blasphemer! Stone Him! Stone Him!

The nerve to say that hub HP & torque does not equal wheel HP & torque. We all know MINI wheels and tires are massless....

agreed i laughed today, a civic hatch was in front of me today with an uber loud can (was just soo annoying) so at a light i reved, he reved back, and attempted to take off at the light, and went uber slow, i double shifted (1,2,4,6) @4000 and still passed him :P. they make me laugh course it was like 20 outsde today so the mini was pulling quite well in the 3-4 range.

I guess we'll see which is a better mod for my car : sc or turbo. I'm interested in those 20 or so people with 250+ hp cars. I'd like to hear in a PM or here mods done, cost (if you're willing to discuss), who from, reliability, pitfalls, Daily driver or track car, build times, etc. if they have the time or should I keep fine combing the threads.

Sorta like me....but instead of having a fart can....I HAVE NO EXHAUST. If I cant be fast for now...might as well be all show and be obnoxious. The ricers and fast cars wont even try and stage with me once they see all the parts...LMAO~! But one thing is for certain....I can navigate a roundabout at about 70mph and stick it....and stop on a dime....
