OBDII software for PC laptop

Has anyone discovered software for a PC Laptop that can access the MINI ECU through the ODBII port? Even OBDII software that can monitor the various sensors etc. while the car is underway. I know that the ScanGauge is out there but I have a laptop that I would like to use and if the software is more sophisticated that it would be a plus to get the data into larger graphs etc. Your help and experience would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This has been reported to communicate with the Mini ECU, however no-one has done much with it. ROMraider, ECUFLASH, are tools to use with it. There is a group that will provide definitions to you.

I use AutoTap and while the units of measure are a bit odd, it works great. OBD2 to USP and you can datalog as much as your hard drive will hold. It will clear codes, show what tests have been performed in the drive cycle, display everything it has access to in customizable gauges, and graphs the data. I bought it years ago and love it.

I'm thinking about getting Auto Enginuity. It seems to have a nice interface and they have manufacturer-specific upgrades. Anyone have experience with this program?
