I know it's off topic, but I don't think onasled will mind.

Yes I can,

1) buy two long zip ties

2) buy 10ft of rubber hose

3) drink 2 cans off your favourite beer

4) find suitable place for cans to sit

sorted

Absolutely, but I'm not so sure that's allowed on NAM these days.

I'm guessing you're not a big fan of the GTT can...or GTT altogether? Thanks anyway...I think.

But........ . I don't want to clog this thread up with too much stuff. It makes it too easy for this to get off topic and for questions not to be answered. Let's do try and stay with the topic and hope we can get some straight answers.

I understand. I think though that we are in line with getting the facts.
I hope others that have real questions about this will speak up without the fear of being alienated in some way.

Cam manufacturers usually stamp some kind of identification on them somewhere.
Do the RMW and Newman cams have anything like this?

This isn't the USA, it's NAM.

I really don't see the scandal here . Many companies take products and put their names on them, including your big sponsor onasled. As to the price, if these are in fact Newman cams, how about we go back to what the exchange rate was when these were first sold. I think someone on here has an ax (or is it cam) to grind.

I have an RMW Cam. It cost exactly what I agreed to pay for it, based on the value I placed on it (which, at the time, would have been approximately the same price as the Newman cam with shipping). And it performs exactly the way my vendor said it would, and I'm happy with my purchase. I frankly don't care who ground it, where the specs came from, etc. I'm a happy camper. But to each his own.

OK, that's all good, but the problem is that since you put the cam in your car has not been running right. If that's what you were looking for Paul, then I gues you have no complaints.

The problem Paul has been having after the cam install I had as well. However, I did have a stock cam and a stock tune and etc. I don't remeber what my mechanic did but it never came back on after I took it to him for a diffrent reason.

Wheres Jan or is fan boys? I would have thought by now someone would have come in here and said to take it to the track. Or come in here and told us all we have no clue what we are talking about. Or come in here and said Jan has done it all and seen it all and we haven't seen or done anything. Guess it doesn't do me to good to think.

I think the main problem here is that RMW is getting the WHP out of these cars and no one else is coming close so they start to investigate every little detail of where his stuff comes from. What about all these other vendors, they all probably get their stuff out of the same factory, rebadge it and then flog it to make a profit. It's called business. I don't really see the point of bringing this up other than what you said Longboard. Yes I am and RMW junkie and I think his products are awesome but if I thought I was getting ripped I wouldn't buy it. I just know that that CAM works with his head and that's all that matters to me. Next you guys will be saying the the Head that he puts out isn't his etc etc. Why don't you clowns just accept that his stuff is a cut above anybody else's and save up and buy it instead of bringing it down all the time!! It's getting quite tiring
Anyway, you car is looking really good Longboard

VERY well said my friend. Jan will always get the most of my respect out of any other MINI tuner, period.

AND...I don't even own a single RMW product, nor have I ever. Hopefully that will change soon ::crosses fingers for R56 tune::
