I'd have to say...

that it's close to irrelvant. The R53 MCS has a 30 lb flywheel with a much larger radius. The deltas will be in the noise....

I know that and you know that but people still think it's something that matters

Do you have a time line yet for availability that your shooting for?

And are you shooting for a few different choices, meaning ones that target stock replacement to full top end mods(hp rated maybe?) or do you think you can come up with one that will cover the whole rpm range?

I guess people forget about the big roundy thing on the other end

2months if all goes as planned

I will be testing them on my TVS so HP won't be an issue if it passes that test

Jan, this thing is total bull. Do you have any noise delta before and after? Huh? Any videos to prove it actually works on the Mini. How about 30-130 or at least 30-90 pulls? And we've actually had this for years, you're a copy cat. Blah Blah Blah.

Sorry, I didn't think your thread was complete without the above...now that its here hopefully it can stay on topic for the rest of its life. BTW, thanks for engineering useful products...awesome work

Probably so, but it would be a great sales feature if it were lower inertia than stock, and it's easy enough to test. Might even convince the aluminum pulley crowd to drop their undamped gear-busters.

The billet AL crowd

will still have something at about a lb... So I don't think they'll ever "give up" on it. A couple of years ago, there was a version of something that was 4-5 lbs, a real dampener (Don't remember if it was rubber or fluid, I think it was rubber) that sold for about $400... Awful expesnive for sure...

Hay Jan, gonna make on based on the "rattler" desgin?

Any update on this? I'm at 105k on my 05 MCS and had the stock crank pulley seperate at about 65k, so definitely looking for an option if the OEM fails again.
