Dual spray pattern injectors

I was looking up 440 Bosch green top dual spray pattern injectors, wondering if the dual spray pattern would be beneficial for our R53 cars? I have some for a volvo, that were used in an audi S4 I was wondering if they would work in my car?
Does anyone use dual spray pattern injectors?

Why 550's are you turbo conversion and running a big turbo? If you are still factory supercharger and head 380's are fine, with a modified head 440's are perfect.

Im planning on going turbo next summer, with a big valve head etc, so im thinking 550's are good.
No idea how im gonna get them scaled without a tune tho, as im in the UK.

Just be careful with what size injectors you get between now and then.
Many times larger injectors won't run well at low duty cycles and the fuel doesn't atomize very well...

You wouldn't want your injectors dripping now, would you?

I wonder if 440's would be enough for 400 hp?

I haven't checked myself, but other NAM posts say we've got 52psi on the rail... and using .55 or .6 for the BFSC should be close enough for government work...

The MCS R53 engines come from the factory with dual cone spray pattern injectors in the first place.
Based on this it would be advisable to have someone else tune the car.

Looks like their website is down right now...

It's a fuel injector calculator, which includes fuel pressure in their equation.
