I think the 14s are better heat range for what you have. Those are 2 steps colder

No real need for colder plugs unless you go to a reduction pulley

I just put a set of Brisk DR12S plugs in today, and wow. The top end is so smooth and the car pulls all the way to redline. With the old NGK iridium plugs, the car had some hesitation above 5k. The plugs looked good when I took them out, and none smelled like oil.

I gapped them to 0.030, used anti-seize and dielectric gel.

I'm afraid to ask what the pistons look like, and definitely afraid to know who tuned it.

So AZ, what are we to believe?

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...7-post123.html

On February 22 you said would never have or own a RMW product in or on your car. So what's the truth?

We can figure it out.

Some I wanted to point out that I'm surprised no one has mentioned - if you change your plugs be sure to TORQUE THEM TO SPEC! (and recheck them later)

If you don't we may see you in the "I blew a plug" thread.

It wasn't tune, it was all stock flash with a base line run.

Bosch, Autolite, NGK, Accel, Denso, Champion et all, can make a faulty batch of plugs. Your post was not pointing out a faulty set of plugs, your tone was basically making fun of someone and saying their recommendation was not as good as purported.

The petty hating in these drivetrain threads is ridiculous. What happened to everyone working to improve our cars and moving forward. It is inevitable that people will take different approaches to making power and some will make more than others. There no need for all this hateful discord and finger pointing. This is not junior high, let's lose the attitudes and get back to making the cars more fun.

I'm surprised that the actual best torque number for the BRISK plugs has not been debated... just for my info, what is the preferred torque for these?... I just got a set...

thanks!

I just got a set of these in my MINI today. The 14LGS ones as a matter of fact. Maybe I'm not sensitive enough to feel the difference...

I just took my old NGK's (30,000) off the shelf, gaped them at 32mm and got the same results.
