I don't think I've had any problems with my 37,000 mile old NGK Iridium plugs. The car starts right up, no rough idling or stuttering, power is always smooth, and since I fixed the boost leak and belt tensioner, the car pulls to redline.
Could these Brisk DR12S really do anything if I have no problems?
I could try them, but the NGK plugs still have many useful miles left in them. Somewhere I heard that spark plugs should last 100k. But that is probably wrong.

55k max on the mini is what ive been told for the stockers / works its different for every car hell the zonda only needs them done every 60k

Some folks say 100K.
The MINI TSB for the JCW cars says "change them every oil change". No kidding.
I'll pick somewhere in between, I think... My car has starting misfiring occasionally - I'm gonna try these...
can anyone confirm the part no for a cooper s with pulley and stock head .Is it DOR14LGST and is this plug one step cooler than stock.
Dragon, The easiest and fairest answer to your question is to call RMW and buy them. Why? Two reasons:
Because Jan has done the work to determine what works best in the four-prong family you are asking about (and Alta for the 2-prongers), and that work should be rewarded with a sale, rather than taking a part number and "shopping it around". When you buy the recommended plugs for your configuration, you will have the personalized advice and the number. When the Mini community buys products from companies that develop & test them, it provides incentives to further develop excellent products for our Minis.
Brisk plugs have a very limited distribution & availability at this point, and you are not going to find lots of companies competing to sell them.
FWIW, Brisk's web site lists the DOR14LGS as the "correct" replacement for OEM for all R53s, including the JCW. The list is in Excel and is viewable and downloadable from their site. The document is titled
"BRISK Spark Plug Vehicle Application Catalogue (Stock application)"
and it lists all vehicle apps.
I had mine for about 5k now. Did not really feel a diffrence vs the NGK's I had prior. This is how the plugs look like after 5k. I have no clue how to read plugs though.

If you only have 1850 miles on those plugs
color looks lean and center electrode is wearing very fast.
What gap were they installed at and what gap are they now?

I gapped them at .28 and I did not check what the gapping was when the picture was taken.
