Local Muffler shops or Some of the Mini Garages
One ball,
Your best bet is a local Muffler shop, take the pictures
of some that have been done (seach NAM for one-ball, explain what you want done.
some shops charge $50 - $175, parts needed are salvaged from the
parts your cutting off,
Or the DYI
But I have seen some for sale in the NAM Market,
and Used units from the Mini garage, ie.. Helix (PA), Grassroots Garage (NC),
etc... but shipping cost would not be cost effective.

They are actually polished stainless steel, not chrome as stated. Make sure you ask for the NAM discount, it saves you a few $. I just received mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to install yet. They have a nice custom look about them - more like what an aftermarket exhaust would have. I see where others that have bought these tips have painted the inside with a high heat black (BBQ grill black) and will probably do the same.

Its been a while since I have looked at tips but because of the tubing bends at the tips your really limited to OEM tips or the aftermarket dealer tips from a bolt on perspective.

Thanks and nice tips
Here's my solution - definitely not plug & play... but nice, and no problems after 7 months and 15,000 miles
Why do folks convert from two to one muffler pod ('ball')? It would seem that backpressure would increase and reduce engine efficiency.
This isn't a case of Just-a-Cooper envy, is it?
BREAK
I just took another look at the diagram above. It looks like dropping to one ball would reduce backpressure since it appears that the exhaust is sequentially routed through the original two instead of in parallel.
True?

I think it will look good, ill post some pics after I get them on.
Yep... allen set screws accessed through holes in the bottom. Likely to be VERY tight... make sure you use the right size wrench or you will strip them... and you'll probably need some pliers or a something for leverage to break them loose.
