First round of mods: FINALLY DONE!

So I haven't posted on NAM all summer, so its been a while - hey everybody!

Back at the beginning of the summer I ordered a K&N typhoon intake, Jardine exhaust, and a 17% pulley from alta. I did the intake and exhaust by myself (the exhaust had some fitment problems, but its on and sounds awesome!) and I finally got the pulley installed yesterday. I'm proud to say, the pulley did EXACTLY what I was hoping for. This thing totally rips now!! The TCS was kicking in in 1st gear off roll-on power from 2500 rpms. Its got a lot more torque now for sure!

Thanks SO MUCH to Mark and the people down at Euopean Auto Garage here in Knoxville, TN. They worked so hard for me and gave me a lot of good advice. Turns out I have some blown bushings I need to have replaced. They also fixed a oil leak problem I was having. Such good people! I will be going back to them for all my work for sure!!

Next engine steps: fuel injectors, spark plugs, ecu re-map. Any suggestions?

Going to happen before engine: replace control arm bushings, rear sway bar, front strut tower bar, maybe alta p.s.r.s? Any suggestions? I'm not wanting to do coil-overs... as of right now at least

B&M SSK

I put in a B&M Sport Short Shift Kit.

Less throw distance into gears and it sits lower to the console. Considering how much we shift these things, I rate this as one of my top 3 mods.....

added a custom whalen last month, and there is a huge sale on those this month, another great mod as well

I have the B+M short shifter as well, its awesome, although the shifter is lower than stock, so if your not comfortable with that, I think the cravenspeed is adjustable. You have many options, from this point, I recommend injectors, RMW cam, spark plugs, and a tune from Jan. Stay away from those canned tunes, Jans tune is the safest, gives you the most power, and is cheaper than say the unichip.

Thanks for the advice regarding canned tunes. I'm thinking that I definitely want a RMW cam swap. What kind of gains will that get me? Does that cam make the idle rough or anything?

Don't put stock control arm bushings back in. Get some polyurethane ones. You will not regret it.
