You know, i've been considering taking the plunge and going with the TVS setup, but I think that dryer hose is the way I wanna go! Has anyone posted numbers on that setup? :D

I'd love to have 2 of them.
(Possibly the stickers first, then the header later on)

See you in Philly in Nov.

Jan just to be clear...the shorty header has the larger D-ports to fit the big valve head but will also work with the stock head right? So if I buy the header now and later get the head I can keep the header and it will work together?

More RMW Street Header Pics

Hey Jan,

I just finished installing the street header tonight and everything went pretty smooth. I currently have the one-ball mod and after installing the header, the car definately sounds more aggressive! It seems to pull harder on the top end now. All in all, a great product...can't wait to match it up with your heads & cam package!

Hope you don't mind if I post more pics of your street header vs. stock header here.

I think you did Jan a favor with your pics. They show the big differences between the two headers.

I dunno about dyno yet, but I took the header off and put the stocker back on temporarily. When I first put the header on, it was with the pulley, head, cam and Milltek. The whole combination turned the loud factor way up. After I did all that, I put in the Scangauge, so I got to see what boost I was developing with all the goodies on. It was pretty low, I thought, which is a good thing. When I put the stocker back on with everything else still in place, the loud factor went way down, and the boost readings went way up. So sans dyno, I can tell the header is letting much more flow through the system as a whole. And that, to me, is goodness. When I get the bigger injectors in and get the tune with the header back on, I feel like my limiting factor will then be the supercharger. I think I'm gonna draw the line at that, though. I don't intend to drag race the car, just run it on the street. What I get with the goodies I have so far is gonna be plenty for what I will do with the car. But bottom line is the header makes a huge difference.

I'm going to assume you are running the shorty right? As I dont believe its possible to put the stock manifold back on once the race header is installed due to its length. Overall great to hear The satisfied customers just keep on coming!!

The stock header looks pretty pathetic next to the shorty
What were they thinking with that collector and pre-cat?

I dont know but isn't it funny that those "other" companies that sell "performance manifolds" use essentially the same design collector?
And oh they're typically more money than Jan's!!
Hmm I dont know....I'm just not buying it...LITERALLY"
