Drivetrain RMW Exhaust Header choices
Jan,
Could you please give us a breakdown on both of these headers - here in this dedicated thread.
Things that would help not only myself, but I am sure others.
Things like - Catalytic options, O2 Sensor Location, Modifications needed to make work, Intended use / desired power-band characteristics, Noise.
I know most of the answers, but it will save everyone from asking you over and over again and will be in one nice easy to find/search place.

I've got the street header and really like it. I can comment on a couple of the previous questions. SENSOR LOCATION: when installing the header it appeared that the sensor location was very close to the stock location. MODIFICATIONS NEEDED TO INSTALL: I had to clearence a few of the heat shields underneath the car, mainly for the sensor to clear. And last NOISE: It is considerably louder than stock, around town and under 3k Rpm it's no problem over that she gets loud in a hurry. I personally love it and wouldn't change it. Thats just my .02. Hope that helps.

the cylinder head makes the noise much more progessive as much more air is now going through the engine
I will put together something for the thread and put it in the original post

I hope you have lots of time to explain your headers to everyone. Should take about a page or two. See if anyone has a picture of both installed. All I know is they work better than any on the market bar none. My number's prove this out. 219hp @ the wheel with header ,exhaust and cam on a stock JCW motor.

"One day it will be me mine....oh yes."
--->Jan: The race header has a 2.5" v-band flange, right?
Keep up the good work!
Cheers,

Jan, the phone cut out this morning when I was trying to get info from ya, I have a stock header/port matched/precat delete with a shrick cam. My car has power everywhere and is very driveable and friendly. Would my car benefit greatly with just your cam or just one of your headers? Why the combo recommendation? Am I insane for swapping out one performance cam for another? Is this an important upgrade? Safe? Too many??'s
Im trying to justify this frivolous spending I'm about to do...

I've had a Schrick and Jan's cam. Jan's is way better down low. Power band is a lot nicer. Nothing lost up top either. All I have is his header, exhaust and cam and my numbers are better than yours. His header and cam are huge number makers.
BTW how much is the smaller tvs expected to cost...
Anyone interested in a great deal on a schrick cam
