I've made the decision to go suspension first before power as it seems to make the most sense for the same reasons already mentioned.

Well.. when that bonus starts rolling in I will anyway...

Everyone seems to have amazing things to say about the Cross Coilovers as they seem to solve all of the various weaknesses and drivability issues the mini has when you get on it.

I don't know if it will matter to you, but you know that the JCW has an electronic dif as opposed to the mechanical diff in the regular S?

Back on the topic of power... has anyone talked about the idea of creating a twin turbo setup for the MCS? I know that would involve a ton of customization as there's not much room in that engine to do much, but it's something I've had some curiosity about.
Gotta shake it up a little...some people all you hear is ..isin't this supposed to be fun to???

I also heard that cross was a good product...want to lower mine and been looking around for a set up myself...

Now Twin Turbos on our Mini's.....that I want to see

The cross coilovers are fantastic. Never tried the M7 ones but you might check around this forum and see what other people think of M7 stuff.

Heard good about M7 as well. I want a fully adjustable coil over like I have in my Vette. I want to be able to adjust ride height seperatly from spring rate...these cost a little more but I think well worth the extra cash in the long run.

We have a new coilover system coming for the person who wants the best coilover system you can buy for the track/street application. Watch for it in the coming weeks. These are 2 way adjustables and you can get them with resevoirs also.

If you want a full track setup we also have 3way and 4 way adjustable

have coilovers become like computers now? You can't buy any without them being obsolete in 3 months?

Seems that way but I think if you choose the right set for what you want they will last as long as you need them. I would only buy from a company with a good reputation. I purchased 16 ways adjustable coil overs about a year ago and have seen nothing that even comes close...YET!!!!

You might try thinking about it from your Corvette standpoint. Your vette can be considered the JCW of Corvettes. So, if you wanted to increase HP in your Vette, what would you do?
Perhaps take the same methods and apply them to the Mini. Turbo internals, intercooler, engine internals, etc.
Just a thought

Here is what I decided to start with..
Alta Intake
Larger Intercooler
Down Pipe

I am going to break her in and then get a couple of clean dyno pulls in stock form...then add each part and find out what I am getting out of each mod.
