what sells parts is going faster than M3s, Evo's, Scoobies etc on the road course. 99% of the Mini community could care less how fast you go down the 1/4 mile. I thought we had this conversation before? Changing over to road has helped your business plan immensely. If you want to build a drag only car... do it... otherwise build a fast road car and earn some respect

You've got to have a laugh, but also our customers can appreciate how fast there cars are now when comparing 1/4 mile times in any publication.

You proberly find its the first thing they look at now.

Road cources are excellent fun but its hard to compare due to driver skill, as Jan knows even with all the power and trq he's got in his GP he cant even beat an actor around SOW

roflmao.... that actor is a National champion

I can tell you without a doubt.... all of the track people here who track their cars will tell you all they care about is going faster around the track. Whether its horsepower needed or driver skill the final result is still how fast can you go around. When you finally realise this your business will triple

Quote: Jan tuned my car today too. 248 WHP and 193 ft-lbs of torque!! Not too bad for a 2002 car with 85k. RMW ROCKS!!

RMW head
440 cc injectors
RMW Cam
15% Alta
RMW shorty header
RMW Catback
DDM CAI
GP IC
Stock coil
RMW tune

Jan

Whats this catback you use with the shorty header?

Is it quieter than the full race system?

I don't track nor do a huge number of your customers . If you or Paul aim only at track cars both of you would die a fast death.

The majority of us want to smash that smart *** on the street like I did to the poor guy in the Porsche boxster yesterday in my local canyon. He pulled up next to me at the light outside the canyon. He looked a little angry and wanted to know what the hell I had in that thing . It's stock man .

We have 3 major mini shows at dragstrips over here and the numbers going on the dragstrip are increasing year on year, people are learning like JAW how to hook there mini up real quick.

At one stage at Mini in the Park at Santa Pod there was .007 between JAW and Jove for top spot, excellent racing as the No 1 spot kept swopping back and forth.

We also had 7 minis at Evo Magazine track day last week as well, 1.2 km back straight

Only 7? Next weekend we'll have at least 10 for a Dallas area track day.
