Drivetrain Most powerful M45 car 279whp!

not the top score - i hadta leave early

the faces say it all - it was a pretty laid back way to break the record. No ice, a funny looking little fan (bigger was taken) etc... Jan, just smiling, looked like he just went to work that morning, making little miracles happen like any other day, while Danny was just saying "even HE has no idea how good his stuff is...." Thanks for the show guys
impressive stuff

thanks JIMEK!!!!
just think if we could have gotten on the other dyno with the fan as big as truck...LOL
for the rest of the NAM members JIMEK is from Poland so it was only fitting to let him drive the GP and watch us break another record
btw... suhweeeeet pictures!

What's the deal with the argument about dynoing a car with the hood open v. hood closed? Some tool (not because of his argument but a previous issue) keeps claiming running a car on a dyno hood open gives a false, higher reading. Is there any truth to this or can I call him a tool for this as well?

ask him this question.... does his car have 30mph wind on it at 110mph?

Its not going to make that much of a diffrence, you have to get air running through the engine bay somehow, closed hood would be tuff one.
^^^His claim, not mine.
I'm not even gonna try and find that guy and even attempt to get into anything again. If you disagree with him, you're wrong. Plain and simple. You could have dyno sheets, patents, and first hand experience and you'd still be wrong. Just like how a manual trans car loses 20-25% drivetrain loss.

I guess that's when you smile and say.... have a nice day
he will still run a 14sec pass
he is way too excitable
I want to see what he runs at SOW as that is what matters... how fast can you go around a track
I have driven the car... his shifter cables are shot... it's a chore to get it into gear at times. I have told him to replace them but you know the cobblers kids never have shoes
Aint that the truth
probably because we "AMERICANS" have taken a British car and figured out it was better suited for corners
who uses MAGIC?
yeah I know ................OIL COOLER........... you and about 20 others
good grief... can't I have some fun first?
stop teasing me with the Glen... you know how I want to drive that in my car
But we BRITISH figured ut we can use the car for going to the shops, work, drag racing and road courses
I think its a sad state of the young peeps of today who cant bang the gears 3 times and be efficent with it down the 1320, also it will help him find out what shift point is the quickest to get down and around a track.

come on silly... use your head....
you can find the shift point by looking at your dyno sheet
we are still waiting for you to catch up to 10.4.... of course when you do that we will be in the 9s
If I was you I wouldn't ask for me to do this... because when I do... you will never get it back
you are starting to eerily sound like Roland now
