No you cant mount it on the stock rubber pipes. This is a performance modification, the sound is just a free bee.

Hey everyone. I was interested when I saw the pics awhile back and thought to myself I can make that. So I went to Autozone today and bought single exhaust pipes, cut them to spec, cut my Alta tubes to spec, and connected everything myself. Including the turbo inlet tube. I just need to paint the pipes with something...it was pretty inexpensive in all, although, I own the proper tools. Anyways, pics when I install them.

I dont think to many people want to cut up a nice set of boost tubes to install a bov. Also i hope you put beads on the pipe because you will have a chance of having it blow off the silicon.

well i only made the ic pipe off the turbo and the inlet...the other i didnt have a spare bov lying around lol it's basically what m7 sells but homemade on the ic part...however, I did have spare alta tubes so cutting them up wasn't an issue, otherwise I would of never haha. If it doesn't work properly then I'll switch back, didn't take much time anyways.

It's not a vendor's thread. No apoligies needed.

oh okay, well I would never purposely want to intrude on a Vendor's thread.

BTW WYSIWYG - that MINI you have on order, that must be the nicest looking BRG MINI I have ever seen. And thats just on the MINI website! Well done!

Thanks DT, that's nice to hear. I'm still figuring it out as I go, but I like the way it's coming along.

Hi Hector. i am still saving up for this. I will have to do it in 2 parts how much for the whole setup without the forge BOV. still with the flange but that way I can get the BOV later??

I have an M7 strut brace, can you move the BOV down a bit? It looks like it will hit the Brace

I'm pretty sure he can get you the flange but it would need to be solo for you or another shop to weld in later...not on the pipe....as per you will have about a 1" hole in your pipe...Car won't run too nice that way
