650BHP S

Hi everybody,

After more than half year of browsing and reading this forum I decided to post. And I wouldn't have done it for a while, but I really found on another mini forum some Europe news... check this out: http://pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=18555

I saw some fights transforming bhp to whp so I don't want to see that now. Is it really the best 1/4 time for a Mini?

Regards

Thats pretty quick, what more do you want? Not really a good choice for drag racing imo.

I totally applaud all who worked on this, (Tüls, etc.), the car's powerplant is amazing, but I agree with littlehandegan; I fail to see the point of a drag racing MINI.

It's like turning a Ford Excursion into a road coarse race car, or in other words, the Porsche Cayenne.

WHY?

Yeah I guess a car that does a 1/4 mile faster than an Enzo isn't meant to be a drag racer...

They do it because they can . When racing against a MINI, best case scenario, you beat a MINI ; worst case scenario, you get beat by a MINI I would of loved to see the reaction of the driver of the last car on that video. His front end lifted when he launched and he still got beat by a MINI

I'd think that a car that does the 1/4 mile faster than an Enzo is meant to be a drag racer.

Yeah I am wondering the same thing. 650 BHP is nuts for this car!

Or an X5 doing the Nurburgring in 7:50?
