Super Over Drive Supercharger...

What would the general Oppinion of Taking the stock Eaton M45 and overdriving it to the point of nearly 30 percent just to see what it would do then Cap the redline at about 6k?
Intresting no?
Great for street driving, Horrid death for the blower.
Running an electric water pump of course.
But how to keep the belt on this super small pulley you ask?
Why keep the pully size a standard 15% but gear it up on the imput shaft....
Hmm Ideas
Whats everyone think?

Probably just loose all efficiency, sort of like a prop on a boat cavitating....spinning to fast and not getting any bite.

Not sure the 900 is commercially available yet, otherwise I know someone that would be playing with one.

Well i know thats gonna go on my car soon as its ready... as is the stroker. its just when i have the cash it will happenn
as for right now im sorting suspension.
I dont think it would lose all effency. can you imagine what that would soundlike'?

In the end, the Rotrex may give lower inlet temps and maybe higher peak numbers, but the TVS will give the same torque curve as the M45 but with decreases in temps and better pumping efficiencies. Eaton just needs to release the 900 for the 1.6.

There is a point where the heat created in the little charger destroys efficiency making less power. You will probably have a ton of torque and thats it.

I mean why not thats why you keep the engine rpm low....

I can tell you what would probably happen in reality, Tuls has a picture floating around here of a melted M45, not sure of the origin, but yours would probably end up looking much like it. You don't know until you try. Let us know how it goes
