The RMW exhaust is built as a system. The cost shouldn't be much different...in fact the Super Sprint might be more than just the RMW catback. It just makes more sense. to me anyways to go with the system that is designed to work together whether it be RMW or whoever.
Well... the Super Sprint is a very well made exhaust and to me the sound is awesome.

The biggest difference between the RMW and the Super Sprint CB's is tubing diameter. The RMW uses 2" all the way to the tips while the SS uses 1" 1/2". The other big difference is that the RMW rear section comes welded together as a single unit. The whole RMW cat back consists of two parts (center pipe and rear section). From the cat back to the tips you only have two connection joints. I believe the SS cat back has a total of 6 piece's that make up the cat back meaning it has 7 joints to connect (that could leak) to make up the CB.

Plus as said before the SS is crazy $ for that system.

Correct there are advantages and disadvantages. The SS because of the pieces allows for full adjust ability or tweaking when putting it in. I have the OBX equivalent and it was a pain to install - adjust one piece the others might move but once you get everything where you want it and clamp it down - it can be perfect. You are correct that you have more connection points so more points, more points of possible failure.

In the case of an exhaust w/ few pieces it could limit getting it placed correctly, resulting in rubbing, rattles, hanger issues, ect.... However if quality control is maintained high it should not be an issue.

At the end of the day - if you have quality made product w/ quality installation one will be fine regardless of the pieces involved.
