I'm also curious about this....

Any mid-range torque gains to be expected from the RMW street header if running stock head and one-ball exhaust? How much? Cost?

Just had a tune done last Thursday. I say it works just fine.

I do have the RMW cam but I can tell you after running it for a couple of weeks before I installed the header, the car felt noticeably torquey after putting it in.

This statement is pretty much true for any header you add. Its a question of how much TQ. It would be great to see a comparison vs the OBX header. Next time Jan swaps an OBX out for his street header it would be great if he dyno'ed before and after.

Very true. Unless you do that kind of comparison, it's hard to know. I do have GTech Pro RR runs that show improvement, but that method has its own limitations. I also have a dyno chart run in May, before the cam and header install, but it was on a Dynojet with different test conditions, etc...

I have no doubt that you got a TQ gain. If a 200 OBX adds TQ, the Janster header has to add. What I'm driving at is how much compared to a cheapy. A better comparison may might be the megan which is also a 4-1 design because the 4-2-1 design (OBX) is designed for mid TQ gains.

I too have a Gtech and did the same when I installed my OBX - felt TQ gains and Gtech confirmed my SOP. And yes, the Gtech is an indicator only or confirm'er of SOP in my opinion.

Knowing Jan, I would expect to see some comparison in the near future for he has always been one to let the numbers speak for them self.

If any? The JCW has a stock header... you'll notice pretty much the same gains on the JCW as the regular MCS.

85+% of the gains from JCW are from a pulley...

Hi guys, right now I have the stock header (it is the same one for every MINI: One, Cooper, Cooper S, JCW). I bought the street one. I´m planing to add to my RMW header a Supersprint exhaust... I can´t wait!!!

Why Super Sprint?

The RMW exhaust is built as a system. The cost shouldn't be much different...in fact the Super Sprint might be more than just the RMW catback. It just makes more sense. to me anyways to go with the system that is designed to work together whether it be RMW or whoever.
