Mod #1: TINT

Hi all, I know it is not much of a "mod" but I seriously cannot have a car without tint. Especially here during the HOT Southern California summers. I just thought I would share some of my Before and After pictures with you all. I used a 20% charcoal/smokey look tint on the rear windows and a 35 on the fronts. I'm loving the visual difference tint can make!
If anyone is interested, I REALLY recommend this shop. I also had my '00 Mercedes CLK430 tinted there.

see the little "glow" around the black area of the back windows? thats caused by the black dots from the OEM window finish. you can push on them with your finger from the inside so that they are less visible. best to do it while the tint is still fresh.

Good idea. I'll do it first thing tomorrow. I wanted to give the windows at least 1 day to dry before I rolled them down or pushed the tint to the dots.

Took about 2-3 hours to complete and dry. The owner of the shop does all the work himself. He is the most honest business owner I've ever met, real personable and gives really good recommendations. It was 200 out of the door. Lifetime guarantee against fading and peeling, etc. I'm a repeat customer - would never think about going anywhere else!

bmwg84,
I'm in Orange County, too. Appreciate the tint reference! I'll likely go to Chris!

Thanks!

That's not me ... lol That's the owner of the shop doing final inspections before releasing the car to me
