I had an 06 r53 for a while and loved the burble the stock exhaust used to make. Well since then i traded it in for an 08 r56 that ive been enjoying since feb 28th, anyways I was wondering if i could get my burble back? Or if there is an exhaust out there that sounds like it has one? I dont mind going aftermarket either, its on the list of things to do.
Any recommendations?

 

You'll need to trade it in for a factory JCW car. My Alta turboback exhaust has a killer growl but no burble. That comes from the ECU. I suppose it wouldn't be impossible to hope for a future reflash solution to add the burble.

 

ack i dont wanna go through the whole trading thing again, WAY to much paper work caz there was a discount on my r56 thanks to a hook up from my cousin who works at Herb Chambers in Boston

 

YOu my friend are right on point! The srt4 neon is the mother of burbling. Teh caliber srt has the same engine size it ut burbles nothing like the neon.If you want more burble, take out teh cat. It will give you a tad more or go 3" with no muffler.

 

yea the neon's burble is RIDICULOUS

 

They have a fish tank in the ehaust.

 

ahh I miss the SRT-4 burble... (my red one)

Ahhh I also miss the 3" O2 Housing and 3" downpipe with cutout burble.. (my orange one)

 

lol, yea mike at Tyrol in NY only works audis, porshces, vdubs, and MINIs but I saw a black srt4 there once that was his close friends so he worked on it for him and that thing was TRICK
