Hi guyz, I searched all the post regarding about the P0420 fault code.

I recently got this code after i fitted OBX header with Xforce Hi-Flow Cat.

I was wondering whether is there any way to fix it other than fit o2 simulator?

If i do not fix it, will it cause any problem to my car like melt the cat or something will happen to my engine or power loss??

All it means is that your cat is functioning below the threshold the engine likes. You can either swap it out for a better cat, or just deal with the code. An o2 sim could work, never tried one. I'd rather just run a proper cat...

Magnaflow makes decent high flow cats. Give Jan a call at RMW. He has a source for cats that play nice with the emissions system and don't fail on the track.
