Bleh. NO2 makes me cry. Oh OH OH OH OH annnnd it's done. Wow... that was amazing, 10 seconds of power, now my car's stock again (Or in this case still really quick, but still a buzzkill) .

yeah but think of how suprised that **** is gonna be when he gives you the point by and you just rocket past him with 500whp.
then you miss your braking zone for the next corner and fly off the course at 150mph. lol
at any rate... grats jan and bryan... it's been a long time coming... I'm happy you guys are getting results that you were hoping for.
pretty good... I need massive suspension and tire work. I couldn't put the power down at all... so yeah. cross coils and quaif are the next mods... then better tires... then moar powa. Day ended with a 1.40.flat
the michelin's definitely were screwing me all day rong.

What tires are you running? And what size/type rims?

17x7 oz ul's 205/45 michelin pilot exalta pe-2's. They were like ice on the repaved section... also the overall size of the 205/45 kept me in a bad spot in 3rd leading up to the bowl. with a 215/40 it would have been perfect.

Pick up a set of Azenis RT-615's or Hankook RS-2's. The RS2's are better for the street (Rain/softer sidewalls). They'll be great on the track. If you can afford to mount/balance a set of NT-01's before your next track day they're only about $40 a tire more than the 2 above, and VERY sticky. Does get annoying to mount tires only to dismount them again later though. Sounds like you need new track rims!
i thought the 615's got to gooey for the track? also nt-01's... ya i can do that. does those come in 215/40? i thought they only came in 215/45
The 615's worked ok for me on the track, they DID get a little slippery towards the end of the session, but still gripped well. It was my first time though, so I'm sure the car was only being pushed to about 75%. The RS-2's are supposedly better with heat.
You're right, didn't know the NT01's didn't come in 215/40's.
They have them in 205/40's (That's what Danny ran and he liked them), 215/45's, 225/45's, etc.
