At 4000 RPM's or so (Cruising at 80 mph) if you're going uphill, loading the engine, you have to talk pretty loud to be heard over the exhaust. It's a race header, if all you do is drive on the street it's overkill.

Posted another video. Youtube is taking forever for these last few.
Sweet videos Nick! I agree that the videos make it sound quieter than it is... if you listen closely you can tell that it really is quite loud because the signal clips some. So yeah, I believe you that it is loud.

E-Mail/Call Jan if you want to order one. It's possible the first run is already sold out. He had quite a few of them sold just a few days ago.

i probably should wait for the second run, as I've gotta be able to afford Jan's tune here in Detroit in a few weeks.
tho having this on would be a nice bonus.

Better to get it tuned WITH the header, so you don't have to do it again.

Come on man, justify it, you know you want to.

DAMN YOU!!!!!
no really.
you have no idea how hard it was not to take a second mortgage to get the head and the cam too.....

i doubt that it would get here in time, and then i'd have to bug Chad at Detroit Tuned to intall it, after just making him do the exhaust (for the tune)

Daaaaammmmmnnnyouuuuuuu!!!!!

In this economy I'd advise against taking any seconds out.

The video you already posted with the idle rumble was enough. I now know i have no choice, except for how long before....

Tho i think this header would be very nice friends with my new exhaust. Just short on timing for the tune (head/cam, etc HAS to wait)
i never understood why people spent money on their cars until i got my R52.

I've run out of things to record . Next weekend I'll have some track footage with a proper mount.

So, when can we expect to see updates on the 426 Hemi MINI project?

Gosh those Mini Clubman GT front ends are ugly. They do provide more volume for large displacement motors though.

Hi Jan,

Do you still have any of these headers in stock? If so, how do I purchase?

I received my shorty header from Jan last week!
I've been in the garage loving it, caressing it and stroking i..... oh, well, I had to enjoy it before it goes under the car never to be seen again right?

Seriously Jan, the thing is a work of art. I might have a picture of it blown up to a 30X40 and hang it on the wall in my garage! Craftsmanship is second to none. Very very nice piece indeed and I can't wait to get it on the car
