Seattle RMW tune. June 20th & 21st at Axiom Motorsports!
Yes its true, Jan is coming to Seattle for ECU tuning. He will be able to start tuning possibly thursday night the 19th (depending on the number of cars) and has confirmed the 20th and the 21st. So mark your calendar!
Here is the link to Axiom where you will find the address and a map of the area-

RMW Tune: $350
Axiom Motorsports dyno time: $90 per hour or $810 per day. Starting at 10am/7:30pm on Friday,10am/7pm on Saturday
Fun: priceless!
Jan recommends the Following:
1. over half the hole showing in the tensioner
2. new plugs , if running more than 17% use NGK -7s or 8s
3. 91 octane gas, Chevron is usually the best
4. make sure your boots on intercooler are not worn/torn/old
5. Make sure you have no check engine lights
6. make sure your exhaust is NOT leaking
7. clean air filter
8. enough oil and coolant
9. non slipping clutch
10. 380cc injectors if 19% or 15/3% or 15/2 or 17/2 etc
if you plan on running your car on the track it's always better to have 380cc injectors over the stockers

Ill keep that in mind. I have more details coming soon-
Jan has said it normally only takes an hour's worth of dyno time if the car doesn't have to many problems or mods to have to contend with.

Thanks for the info, the only problem now is waiting TWO months
I do have a question more directed to Jan, unless somebody can tell me I'm off base on my thinking. If we do any upgrades to the car should we put some miles on the car with the upgrades before the tune? Or does the tune start from scratch so it doesn't matter if the ECU has adjusted to anything.
I'm planning on adding JCW 380s and a Milltek header before the tune along with the recomended maintanence items and was just wondering if I should put them on earlier so the stock ECU adjusts for a better baseline before the tune.

doesn't really matter but if you put them on earlier it will set the long term fuel trims
I think I might be able to (planning on it) drag Bronson along with me. Depending on what time my "slot" is, it might make sense to stay over. If so, a Super 8 sounds good and let the party begin.
