Drivetrain Intercooler Muffler Pipe
Intercooler Muffler Pipe
I asked on another thread but nil responses, I think it got lost in the void.
I have been getting very creative making things recently and I am considering making my own delete pipe for the intercooler muffler pipe. I know I could buy one already made but they all come from the US and by the time I get it into Aus it will be too expensive.
Does anyone know the diameter of the pipe conections so that I don't have to take the bar off to measure it up and then buy the pipe? I assume it would be 2.75", am I guessing right?
Thanks
Lynton

The two ends are not the same size, you could try Forge as well they are not US based:

I will measure up the one I pulled yesterday from my car, but I would think by time you get adapters, and a couple of decent heavy duty silicon tubes you are going to be in the 100 to 150 US$ range anyway.

OK,
Looked the pipe, I measure the turbo exit end to be 1.75" ID and the Intercooler entrance end to be 2.125" ID. Don't hold me hard to that though, I just used a shop ruler, no Vernier handy here.
