That manifold looks like it belongs in an art exhibit.
Any pics of the manifold on the car?
Rusty, the other $12 is for suspension, brakes, and the like lol...

yeah unfortunately those rumors took over and people like me got tired of fighting it. It wasnt welded manifolds that failed. It was poorly designed and cheaply made manifolds that failed. Buuut people want to listen to "them" and spend thousands with "them" for uhhh nothing, well who am I to say different. I tried to help. With all the internet experts, who needs people like me! LOL

I'm just passing along the comments I've heard from two manufacturers and a few Alta owners. Perhaps it's just the Alta, but I was under the impression the MINI has some serious challenges to overcome(heat cycling, space, stiff suspension, vibration, etc....all things that can kill a welded manifold).

brand? well it started out as a forge... but I modified it with a proper racing cap... that's an old pic... it has a different cap now
