So, does anybody have a solution for 05+ cars where you cant get a bushing for the passenger side? Maybe, bottom mount, trans mount and VIP damper?

I think I'm gonna order the bottom and trans mount and keep the LOTF damper as PGT mentioned.

I'm trying to order from Moss Mini but the NAM Calendar coupon isn't working.

PGT - Did you get a notification from MOSS after you ordered that they are out of stock? I noticed they give you the option while you're ordering that if it's ok if the item is on backorder or not to proceed, but no mention of if it was actually out of stock.

no....the cart said 'backorder ok?' I took that to mean it was on backorder and therefore didn't proceed. besides, despite being $7 cheap, it's coming from CA unless Moss dropships from Powerflex in VA. I need it before 2009, so, one day shipping via UPS Ground is the better choice.

I had danny put in the large powerflex lower engine mount bushing and it prompted a lot of rumble/vibration at idle. It is pretty irritating. Will adding just the trans mount bushing negate some of that vibration, without adding any more bushings?

Looks like it was an issue with Moss not setting up the coupon code on their site, but it's fixed now. I ordered some other items too so 10% was a good deal.

I'll post results after my install. Hopefully it gets rid of the periodic rattle the center resonator of my exhaust is making against the heat shield after installing my Milltek header.

here's the outmotoring link

Looks like the motor bushings are only sold as a set.

hey guys i was wondering since the engine bucks... wouldn't the upper bushing limit the bucking with a stiffer bushing while keeping the lower one with the stock bushing keep the idle "smooth" since the engine weight is mostly on it? just a theory. and another... does the transmission bushing negate the vibrations or causes more?

I did all three mounts in this order, lower, upper, and then the transmission. Once all three were done, there was less NVH than with just the lower, and then the upper. The transmission mount seemed to smooth it all out.

for those that did the gearbox bushings - did you put the two black rubber pads in? We didn't and it doesn't seem too snug. This is confirmed with the 'CLANK!" I hear over hard bumps at speed.

There's no way those stock rubber pads would fit with the powerflex inserts I used. It should be freakin tight going back together.....that's the whole point! Good luck PGT!

it's not tight. there's space in between the yellow bushings and the yoke that goes over.

Yes they're inserts.

PGT are you inserting the correct part #??? What type and part # did you install?

they are inserts too. They fit in nice and snug. It's the yoke from the cast aluminum support that doesn't seem snug. I guess I can try to put a rubber pad back in to tighten it up.

I wonder if your frame rail hanger has been splayed from aggressive shifting??? If you have time go measure the gap. I'll do the same.

You could put the frame rail hanger on a press and squeeze it a little.

doubtful. cast aluminum doesn't tend to bend. I'll go measure just the same
