Wheel Offset question

I bought some 18" wheels 4X100 bolt pattern with a +43 offset. I'm running stock brakes on an 04 MCS, any problems? Appreciate any comments...thanks

That depends on the width of the rims themselves plus the size of the tires.

Dajiggalo,

width of the rims are 7.5" and I plan (haven't bought yet) 215X35Rr17s.

shouldnt be a problem...

but fitting 215/35/17's on an 18" wheel will be difficult im guessing you meant 215/35/18

ginr13,

No, I planned on really streaching them on...just kidding. It was either a senior moment or a finger problem...thanks

measure the backing where the wheel bots to the hub out to the rim . then get that measurement from the new wheel . it'll be more . more tire under the car .

herbie hind,

I bought the wheels used in a deal I could'nt refuse. I plan on lowering the car so that with the wheel further in maybe it will avoid rubbing? What do you think?

Go lower on the offset and use camber to help avoid rubbing
