Drivetrain Whats the best way to take the tension off the timing chain?
I got it. 19mm/swivel/3 inch extension/ratchet/ breaker bar. Once the thing poped it came off with my finger. Took a while to get back on just right too. I've had some anxiety thinking my car was going to explode the rest if the evening. When I started it up to break the cam in and check for leaks I realized I had a leak in my oil pressure gauge line, after about a quart of oil went in my driveway. My apt manager was not pleased. Then I had to walk to the hardware store cus I was out of crush washers
.
Well the cam is in now, It idles a but rough, I think I'm at the point where I'm going to need bigger injectors and a tune.
I may take some pictures and do a full how to cus i've got a extra head just laying around.

And not the oil that is in your drive.....
Honestly, I find it so easy to just remove the sprocket, and the back pivoting chain guide, then you can push back the tensioner with a prybar and not have to worry about taking the 19mm tensioner "bucket" out.
