intercooler sprayer

i was interested in the alta intercooler diverter/sprayer and asked a mini tech how people normally hook them up and i was told that most people use the washer fluid tank as a resoivor. he said that its normally hooked up to the rear washer sprayer and you loose this function. he said it gets pretty messy if you want to continue to run methyl alcohol. this is crazy. why not get a separate small resoivor and hook it up with a pressure switch...something like this Adjustable Boost Pressure Switch [CM09] $23.99 These boost pressure switches are very compact and small enough to fit anywhere. They have both Normally open and Normally closed contacts so they can turn on or off any device. Choose your range from the drop down list. These are rated at 10 AMPS so you dont need a relay for most applications. These are adjustable with a 5/64 hex wrench. These switches are 1-25 psi adjustable.

this way when you hit a certain psi in boost you spray so #1 your not spraying all the time and #2 you keep the rear washer function intact. anyone try anything like this out there?

why can't you use the rear wiper still? for winter, I cap off the sprayer and leave the rear washer connected. for summer, both run. for auto-x, I cap off the rear wiper so I don't spray the course. total cost of this solution is about $3 in tee fitting and caps.

yeah, i still had function in both my sprayer and rear washer, however both only worked at the same time. so eventually i just disconnected the line going to the rear window and also removed the wiper. if you do get this system to work put a diy post as i think it would be quite convenient and would definetley be intrested in doing it
