It's an ET.

I'm not being a smartass - it really is an ET. German brand.

You are referencing an old thread that also reared it's head here. At the time, we assumed that it was a badly worded attempt by Alta to weed out actual counterfeit Alta's - it turned out to be a clumsy attempt to cast aspersions on people installing the et or other pulleys.

et's are not counterfeit Alta's - let's make that perfectly clear. There was, however, a different pulley being distributed on ebay that actually had the Alta logo on it - but had numerous issues with it and was not only a fake, but was unusable as well.

Webb Motorsports and Moss Mini sold them, and maybe there were a few others. To my knowledge, there are no issues with them.

hmmmm... what's up with the hostility? I just provided a link that referenced et... whether the info there holds any value has nothing to do with me... I simply provided the link since joe_r wanted feedback.

Thanks again for the info.As far as me taking it any further or starting any sort of issue.I am not so lets get that clear.I bought it & was goingto have it installed.I changed my mind & did the Dinan stage5 & boost upgrade so I no longer need the et pulley. Its a great pully but I do not know much about it.

I posted this thread to find out info on it so I could have that info to sale the pulley.

What hostility? The only purpose for the disclaimer was to avoid having the OP think he had a substandard or counterfeit pulley.

While I appreciate your reply to this thread, there is more information from behind the scenes that MARK@NAM would NOT allow us to share about the et pulley and the Webb Pulley. There is evidence (and an admission offline) as to the real source.

We tried to walk VERY softly at the time to prevent a public issue (even more than was created.) The goal of my post is only to say that the record STILL isn't completely true. If Mark ever allows it we will gladly publish data to support the source.

With that said, I have not heard of any issues with this pulley!
