exhaust rear section install

i just bought the rear section of a magnaflow catback for my 02 MCS but it didnt come with the mid pipe. what would be the easiest way to mate the mid pipe to the new section, weld a flange to the new section to match the OE mid? thanks

no one has mated a magnaflow rear section to a stock mid pipe?
