Jan tuning in Las Vegas @ AMVIV5

Hey Guys I just got off the phone with Jan and he is coming to Vegas for the Mini Vacation and he is ready to do some tuning.
I posted something on the local Vegas Forums and he suggested I do it here also, so if there is anyone out here that is coming to Vegas for this ocassion and wants their Mini-Monsters tuned contact me by pm.
This week I'll be doing the Dyno set up so we can have a get together and get this done correctly.
I'll be posting more info as the the day gets closer, we talked about getting it done on Thursday the 27th.
Thanks for the support.

I'm going to speak to Jan about doing a sign in sheet so we can arrange times thru the day that way it will be easier for Jan and everybody else. If everything goes well I would like to set up a lil BBQ so we can have a bit more fun and get to know people better.

Not trying to be negative, but just a head's up: there are no Dynapak dynos in Las Vegas. I was told that Jan prefers to tune with a Dynapak (sp?). I contacted the company to find out where their dynos were located, hence this information. You should talk with Jan about what dyno he can work with.
Good luck,

Sorry guys but this last 2 days I've had crazy schedule at work and haven't had the time to do more but I'm off Friday and I'm going to dedicate the whole day on setting this up.
So no worries I'll do my best to make it happen and as of right now we have 5 guys ready to do this. I'll talk to Jan tomorrow and get more info so I can post it here for you guys.
Once again Thanks for the support.
Aaron

The Dynapack is a hydraulic system, from what I have read, that does not use rollers, etc, and actually attaches to the axle(s) with wheels removed. The system is fairly portable it looks like, and probably MUCH easier to operate, quickly and in volume. Such as, when doing multiple tunes.

mc40mini, Contact Doug at "Doug's Dynopower"

702-336-2275, ddynopower@aol.com

He has a Mustang Dyno but is a big supporter of events like this. His Dyno is in Henderson near the Fiesta Henderson Casino.

If you talk to him, tell him that "Levi" referred you (Levi works with me and races his GTI in SCCA events).

Thanks a lot I know Doug because as you mentioned he supportsany kind of activities involving cars, and I will give him a call in case Jan decides to use a mustang dyno.
Thanks

All you need to do is call Dynapack USA and ask if there is a location in the area with a unit. They keep track of these things.

Gnatster-Seems there are none in the area (surprising).

I am NOT speaking for Jan here, only as a person that has spoken to him about this often and has setup a day in Dallas and is working on same in South Texas.

Yes, Jan has tuned on the Helix Mustang and also a roller dyno here in Dallas. It's a LOT more work to tune on these other dynos. They just do not offer the degree of accuracy thats required to make the most of the tuning process. There are wheel slippage issues that are overcome with the Dyna Pack. All in all the Dyna Pack does a much better job. It takes longer to get it right on the other dynos too, this adds to the expense since normally one is charged by the hour for dyno time. I'm not going to say Jan will not entertain tuning on other Dynos, I'm only going to state that without a Dyna Pack he is very reluctant to tune.

Again, I'm not speaking for Jan, only relaying what I know of the process.
