MINI7 What day are you leaving? Motor together?

 

Hey take it from me hold out on the caffine as long as you can cause when the initial caffine wears off your gonna feel like a who did it and ran. Above all else drive safe. Used to do a 12hr drive in 1 day alot when I was on leave to go home straight down I-95 S.

I will be heading down early on Saturday the 29th March. I was thinking about leaving at 5am which will put me down at the I-95/I-26 interchange at 8am, which will be a good point to take a break and get a quick breakfast. It will be cool to run down together. With stops we should be in Sarasota by around 4pm-ish...? An hour for the motor to cool before getting on the Dyno.

Is this thing going to happen, there does not seem to be too much response as yet? C'mon guys.

Just spoke with Jan LAST NIGHT (the man WAS still working ) and have paid the reqd. $350.00 . He did mention that Mr Ingsoc was doing exams!!!! ???? so probably be scarce on the scene whilst he takes care of business

 

So we do need to pay in advanced?

It was decided to pay a deposit to firm things up on commitments .

I don`t think there was a closing date for this to happen so I don`t believe there is any rush , but the sooner the better in my eyes so that Mr Ingsoc has a handle on schedule , also amount of days this event will be scheduled for .

It would be a shame to leave registration till the last minute (when ever that is decided) and miss out . There is a limit of a total of 20 cars for this event and as of the last count I believe that there was a confirmed 16.

BTW I`m not trying to interfere with the organisation ** spell** Just trying to keep the thread alive and people informed with as little as I know about this affair.

 

Yeah im gonna go ahead and send in my money also!!!!

I heard back from Jan. He's really busy with a whole bunch of good stuff that's coming up . I left my deposit.

So far, only 4 people have left deposits. We MUST have everyone give a deposit to sure up the #'s. Post here when you have given Jan your deposit.

 

Hey Guys Time to bug (gently of course ) those that have not put forward the deposit for the tune .

deadline approaching fast and it would be a shame to have Mr Ingsoc cancel the whole thing through lack of support after the flood of confirmations .
