JCW Short throw shifter?

I drove Bschackman 2006 JCW which had a JCW short throw shifter installed. It was awesome and i would love to get one for my MINI. Does anyone know where i could get one? Or what the MINI part number is for it? Price?

Do you mean JCW Shift ****? As far as I know BMW never made a short throw shifter for the MINI.

True. I didn't believe that there was such thing either. The owner of the 06 jcw purchased it new, and has done no mods (as of yet). He believed that it is the jcw model, and from the way it feel's that is totally plausible. Perhaps they changed the shifter from the 03 to the 06? I'm perplexed.

It's a Rogue Engineering short shift kit, if the car was bought new with the ssk from Prestige.

AH HA!! Ok, Here is why it is not the Rogue Engineering short shift kit. The Rogue Engineering short shift kit claim to keep the stock shifter height. The car that i drove clearly had a shorter (height) shifter then my own...

Then if it had a OEM Mini **** it was likely the B&M Short Shifter available from almost any Speed Shop or Mini supplier.

What was it that you liked the most?

It was nice to meet you on Sunday. After you were suprised that there is a jcw short shifter I called Prestige and the told me it is made by Rogue for Mini. They also installed a strut brace that they said m7 made for them. Good luck with your tune.

The Rogue Short Shifter will not alter the stock know height. I fact it doesn’t alter the stalk above the pivot at all.

That said glad to hear that you liked it and it was smooth.
