I'd say Alta turbo back exhaust, intake, intercooler, and then ecu tune....all combining for one quick and awesome sounding car!!!

With the PnP Alta ECU just take it out before going to the dealer and you should be set. And as far as gains check the Alta site or some of the Alta threads on NAM for charts: they're out there!

You won't be disappointed by Alta's CAI. I am thinking about getting the boost tubes. Has anyone purchased these yet? According to the charts on their website it looks like a steady gain of 10HP and 10lb throughout the ENTIRE power band. Then alta goes on to say how it increase boost by 1.5psi. On paper it seems like a very impressive, effective, and affordable product, but there has been very little hype about it, which concerns me. The gains seem similar to Alta's CAI, but no where near as popular. Has anyone purchased the boost tubes and confidently testify to these gains? (no offense to alta, i still love you guys, but i would like some assurance!)

Will the Alta ecu tune, you can just remove it, and no one will know it was there, so if you do that, then no it won't void your warranty. Gains from what I listed above(According to Alta), will put you at 220ish WHP and 265ish WTRQ.... , making for a nice quick MINI!

seriously though adding 10 horsepower to a mini is quite a bit for a mini cuz its so freakin lightweight!!!!!!!!

isnt the turbo back exhaust illegal becuase its not hooked to the catalytic converter?

It depends where you live if the turbo back exhaust is legal or not, but it still has two catalytic converters like the stock exhaust.

I have the ALTA boost tubes. Only thing is I got them installed at the same time as the CAI, so I can't attest to gains solely from it. However I can say that the combo of the two resulted in a very noticeable boost in performance, improved mileage, looks absolutely great under the hood (got them both in red ) and sounds amazing! Now just waiting for my turbo inlet hose to complete the under hood package...

Don't worry - I'm not blaming you guys, ALTA, but what's the holdup???

Usually no, there's just been a couple manufacturing difficulties as of late. I believe only their turbo inlet hose and ECU tune were effected by this.

Yeah, they offer great service and a pleasure to deal with. They are just having a few production issues on the inlet pipe as far as i know. They will sort it soon i'm sure.

Just me being impatient and kinda guessing i'm not going to be able to get it / fit it before xmas

Thanks guys! The inlet hose and boost tubes concerns for supply are being resolved as we speak. I believe most of the backorders have been filled and the remaining items are being sold as they are made. We hope that the new tooling will allow actual inventory to be stocked within 4-6 weeks. We are so happy with the demand!

Sorry for the delays folks! Let me know how I can help further!
