Here is the schedule so far. I still have to reach James I. for Saturday, and Jeff needs room too, so you can see we are pretty full at this point. If I had to, I could squeeze in one more on Friday evening.
I'm pretty excited too, as Jeff said there may be some nice "test" roads nearby.
Call if you still need directions, and anyone is welcome to stop by to watch the process and chat.
See you all soon!

I'm jumping in on this thread at the last minute, but I wanted to say that you guys are going to have a great time with Randy this weekend.
I spent a bunch of time hanging around the shop when he was here in the Dallas area and everyone had a blast. Randy is a real pro when it comes to the installation process and it was fun just to watch him work. He was terrific about answering questions and pointing out what was going on. He provides advice and recommendations to everyone that asked and really made us feel welcome.
Even if you're not having work done on your car, stop by and say hi if you get the chance. You'll be glad you did.
Wings
PS Whoever is hosting this party should have a good 'watering hole' in mind for a few post installation beverages

Are you thinking Dalrymple? I actually thought about loading mappoint on my laptop and marking out the post-install test loop
Mexican or wings sounds great afterward. (Hell, it sounds good during and before, too.) I can't wait until the day of, especially after reading the latest reports. (And commuting when it's hot enough to run the A/C full blast just confirms how much I *need* that pulley!)
Everyone at work thinks (knows) I'm nuts because of this. A couple of the guys may stop by just to see what all the fuss is about. I'm going to try to take time to do some digital video (maybe post-pulley run, eh?) We'll see how that works out.
See you guys in a couple of days,
Jeff

Hey guys!
Is anyone going to be around Thursday evening for a MINI "hang"?
I'm driving in from Southwest Florida because I'm scheduled for my pulley and ECU at 9:30AM Friday morning, thus the leave early Thursday.
I should be arriving Thursday afternoon and probably getting a room at the Days Inn or Holiday Inn, or one of those places down on "cheap row"...
Where's that Margarita place nearby someone mentioned???
That's where I want to have dinner Thursday night!!!! ummmm!

PaperMill and Riverside Drive - which becomes Dalrymple - in other words yes - same thing. Serius Mini territory. There is also the "hill climb" coming up Johston Ferry that could provide a possible timed HP run.
Can't wait!
PS - were any of my tools needed? Jack, stands, air gun, small compressor?

Good Margarita place at the corner of Jonhston Ferry and Rosell Rd. (120). This is just a few blocks north of Pulley central. Don't remember the name - don't always remember leaving the place - that good. thank god for my designated wife that likes to drive "Nigel".

I'm going over after lunch to give it a look-see

Greetings,
I'm scheduled for Sat. 4:30; driving up from Savannah Saturday morning. Now all I need is know where I am going to. Could someone please send me a map and address. Randy was saying yesterday that he will be testing new software today. If it works he will be able to load on site. It also may fix the stumble. I'm getting the pully but may add ECU upgrade after talking to Randy.

Thanks, JB

Check your PM, Jeff should have sent everyone a PM, if you did not get it
let me know I will forward the one he sent me to you, it has directions
and a mapquest link. I will also give you my cell incase you get lost.

>> PaperMill and Riverside
Just watch that sharp turn across the creek--I've seen some *ugly* wrecks into the bank!
>> I'll have to see if Jeff is up for something that night too
Hmm...Definitely up for getting together. I'm ferrying everything we need over their this evening. I'll be so glad when I actually see pulleys flying.
>> Jeff since this is a 3 car garage, would we be able to tinker on the side, waiting
on Randy to do our car or even after?
As long as we're not spilling oil all over the floor and it doesn't interrupt the flow of things, I'm okay. I used a hole saw on mine. If yours is already out of the car perhaps someone can bring a hole saw along. If you're AR about making it look nice this'd be easier than the dremel.
>> PS - were any of my tools needed? Jack, stands, air gun, small compressor?
We have jacks, stands, air ratchet and compressor all gathered up, but thanks for offering. Have a harmonic balancer puller in case we need a spare? (I've talked w/Randy & we have everything, but having a back-up never hurt.)
>> found the subdivision, the house is big. we should have fun.
That it is. 5,000 sq. ft! (We have to be nice, they're letting us use it.)
I'm off to drive everything up there. Joe it sounds like LifeIsGood has already taken care of directions, so I'm assuming everyone knows how to get there. My cell # is included in that post if you have any difficulty finding it.
See y'all soon,
Jeff

Well, my new back wall did not come in, guess I am just going to have to hackup
the existing one instead. It can only get better.
18 more hours, bet yall can tell Im happy about this. Spoke with randy last night
He made me even more excited. Too bad I can'nt get Randy to install the Rear
sway bar while he is their, but that why they call these Pulley partys.

Here ya' go...and it's along reply!
Yeah Babbbbbbby!!! Got the pulley and ECU yesterday from Randy, and finally hit Hwy. 400 north at about 7:15 PM. The mods are fantastic! My only previous mod was the BMP intake... which I may change to Alta sometime down the road. Great low end response with the pulley/ecu... you'll be able to smoke the little ricers between stop lights if that's your thing. Mid-range acceleration also tremendously increased.
GA Hwy 400 is just another freeway north of Atlanta if you're not familiar with it. I can only give seat-of-the-pants impressions, but running about 70 mph in 6th gear I was able to hit 90 mph in a whole lot less time than previously. At one point I dropped into 4th and put the pedal to the floor and literally screamed to 95 mph. I have absolutely no idea what's going to be available at the top end, but I expect you can get to max speed pretty quickly now... and top speed should be increased, too, since I think the ECU flashing has removed limiters.
I had ECU flashed to include intake, pulley AND exhaust (software is specific to your car and your modifications). I'm not even getting the full impact yet, since my Magnaflow exhaust won't arrive here until sometime next week. When I get it on the car, I expect to gain another significant increase on the power curve, since right now the software has me running a little rich on fuel (until the Magnaflow gets on the car, which will cause mixture to be perfect because of the ECU flashing).
Bottom line: If you can swing the $1,100 for the pulley and ECU, it's well worth it. Add an exhaust and intake for another $750-850 depending on intake you choose, and the 4 mods will give you the same thing JCW Kit costs $5,500 to accomplish. And you will have done it for under $2K. Pretty much a no brainer decision for me. I figure even if something breaks someday and it's voided under warranty, the money saved will far more than compensate. So there's the long report. Anybody else??

Great report! Keep them coming. I still have a 3 month wait till the closest pully party. I'm going for the pully & ecu as well. Question: I currently just have the rougue intake and plan on waiting till next summer for my exhaust. Should I have the ecu programmed for the pully/intake/exhaust or just the pully and intake. If i went with just the pully and intake will Randy be able to reflash me for free once i get the exhaust? Oh....i'm excited.
Amit
Amit
Just get programmed for the actual mods you have on the car, unless you know you're adding a mod within a matter of days. Otherwise, you'd be running too rich a mixture until you get your exhaust installed. Randy will reflash you FREE forever...each and every time you need it! The only reason I had him program mine with the exhaust included was because it'll actually be on the car within 5 more days, so I avoid the hassle of reflashing.
Well we got back from Atlanta safe!
First off I like to thank Jeff and Randy for a great time!!
Everybody at the party was great! A special thanks to the guys helping us out
where to venture!
Ohhhh-Weee! yes I got power!!!!, we went north for a bit, crashed for the night
