I saw that.....don't you have to splice wires for a piggy back system?....if so, I don't like the sound of that.

Have Unichip's improved over the last few years? They were very popular with Subaru's when the ej20 came to the US, but died out failry quickly once people were able to directly adjust the code in the ECU. They always had a deadspot as control was passed from the ECU to the Unichip, expecially at partial throttle.

Unichip on my truck

I have a 2004 Toyota Tundra Double Cab with a PNP Unichip installed. I installed it myself 80K ago with no issues & have been very pleased. It's home is behind my glove box and has two maps, I run on A 99% of the time using 87 octane but have flipped it on B with 94 octane.

I look forward to a MSCa option from Alta!

Run Forest Run! Save your $! I would reccomend doing a VERY thourough search before waisting my money. I sure wish I had and also know several others who do as well.

Good luck, buy a UseLessChip and you will need it (As well as a good code resetter)

Latest is now for the current R56 MCS

$599 compared to the $749 ALTA charges for their own custom version(s)

Yes their price is now $50 MORE than ALTA and does NOT include our custom mapping for higher HP and TRQ.

Let me know how I can ever help in the future!
