It seems there's an adjustable valve to control the sound.
Stainless steel.

Two or Four tailpipe versions in Stainless Steel or Carbon Fiber
maybe its just been a long day but this doesnt make sense to me. Its possible that the valve could reroute the exhaust through a les restrictive path, with a turbo though that difference in back pressure would be interesting

considering they show a picture of a bolt on exhaust tip its not too promising. I don't think its going to be anything spectacular.

I don't think they were ever out of business...

This site is a distributor site I believe, but I don't know for sure. I contacted someone from their site at: http://www.remus.at/ regarding their exhaust for my 05 MCS about a year ago.

I ended up picking one up for like 600 bucks online. It's not this system, but I'm happy with the improved exhaust note and overall quality.

I contacted them.

They told me that the PowerSound have an adjustable valve in the muffler near the tips that allows to fine tune the exhaust flow, increasing performance and sound when in "race" configuration.
I asked for a full muffler picture and they said they did not have one for now, but it's a bolt-on silencer featuring the PowerSound valve.

What a concept - design a free flowing exhaust and put a valve in it that you can use to make it more restrictive.

...you don't really get the point I think
when the valve is closed, it's street legal, when it's open, it's not.
All their exhausts are legal, it's there way of doing exhausts.

And if it's too loud for X situation, you can simply play with the valve, voila.

gotcha. JC Whitney used to have muffler cutout valves in their mag. Sounds like something similar.

Nice summary Ramnstein101.

Evos have a valve like this in the OEM exhaust that responds to exhaust pressure. Not really a terrible idea, depends on what you're looking for.

I did indeed, but I saw on other forums one of the site's rep said there would not be any cheaper prices because of some sort of agreement, he mentionned MAP, anybody knows what it is?
