In a conversation with one of our vendors, he described you as "a freakin' genius". He was right! That is some seriously awesome work!

Now that's one beautiful rear!

Will we be cutting, or better yet forming a new "carbonized cover"?

The rear seat delete is part of a long term project that will lead to a rear diffuser through battery box delete and straight trought exhaust. (think Ferrari 360). As always any body can use/ copy anything of mine, I would not publish otherwise I can help with design and tech if you are serious about it. Just a word of warning: Hell is hot .
Great job as expected Laurent...when it comes to CF, you are on top of your game...can't touch that!

BTW...Have my emails and PMs gone into your spam mail?

Well guys,

I "SAW" Carbonizes handy work on Saturday in person. And believe you me the pictures fall short - it is unbelieveable. The hinge set-up is really cool giving you total access and it was designed that in the event of a rear end collision it would fold up and not go after occupants.

On the other hand HE MADE JUST ONE! and should be booted from NAM!! He should be snatched and chained up until he makes a bunch of these. His wife is okay with this idea. Sid when you can get down here to give me a hand - I figure while we have him chained up there are a bunch of CF we could force him to make for us.

I've given this a lot of thought - he doesn't need the full use of his legs

Bart, maybe stake out his house and wait until he goes in the shed, then lock him up until he makes you one.
or you kidnap his dog(if he has one) and use it for ransom.

Seriously, I would settle for the plans he used to make it, and a hardware list. I have a carbon fiber/fiberglass guy up here that would be able to do it.

That's definitely one approach!

I think Carbonized might appreciate this one a little more. www.beermonthclub.com

...nothing better than seeing a friend with a smile on his face!

(Laurent pm me and I'll take care of the details.)

Your suggesting I liquor him up ? I can just imagine fit and finish.

so how thick would you say the cf sheets are for this? It looks amazing. I am now where near your skills in fiber based sheeting materials, but i was thinking maybe i could make someting comparable in AL.

Basically what other materials could you make this out of that would full fill the list of needs carbonized posted. Light weight and sturdy.

p.s. I've seen more then a few end user cf parts in my time... yours by far take the cake. They leave me speachless.

Enjoying a cold quality micro brewery beer in the evening or on a break is hardly liquoring up.

I'm sure the fit and finish is always nothing short of perfection.

Besides I wasn't suggesting that you do it ...it was my idea/offer!

Wow!!! This is an amazing piece of work. The rear interior of my Cooper was redone (bars had to be welded, etc. etc.) & compared to Carbonized's work, my interior is a POS. I would totally buy this product if it was available. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Kidding, that was for a boat I was working on, along with galley sink, splash board, Toilet seat/lead etc. But the old machine still needs lubrication (beer)

Just so you guys know...the next chance I get while standing close to this guy, I will ambush him with a potatoe sack and hold him ransom...until he promises to make what he shows off or...we'll think of something...we have time...

There's a fine line between craftsmanship and art ...I'm leaning towards art after seeing that sink.

Now you have me wondering about this tub I've been planning...
