Some questions for mods-
Why do some people do a 15 or 17% pulley and others do a reduction pulley?
What is the difference? Some one told me that one of them takes the S/C whine sound away (i think reduction pulley)
FOR EXAMPLE-
whats is the difference between a 17% pulley and a 15% pulley with a 2% reduction?

Is there any mods you need to do to a car if you ad a smaller pulley besides colder plugs?

15% and 17% ARE reduction pulleys for the SC pulley, the 2% is an oversized crank pulley. All increase the SC spin rate, to varying degrees.

 

15% SC pulley = 15% smaller diameter - makes SC spin faster
2% Crank pulley = 2% larger diameter - makes SC (also alt, a/c) spin faster

MANY MANY threads on modifications. Do yourself a favor and read through lots of them (search on 'pulley') to see the many opinions of what you can and/or should do. You shouldn't put your faith only in the responses to one thread.
