Does anyone know what has happened to Justin at Halfmoon Auto? His site has been down for weeks and I don't seem to be getting a response from him. Just seeing if everything is ok . I live in Australia and i am not in the loop, so if someone could shed a bit of light I would be most grateful!!

 

I can call him if you would like. I'm friends with Justin, however haven't spoken to him in the past month or so. The reason for the website being down is that he cannot maintain it anymore due to personal issues. I'm assuming those issues are also conflicting upon NAM and his e-mail, so be patient.

If you want to know anything specifically, I can get a hold of him and ask any questions you guys have.

Yeh he told me they were shutting down the site/biz for a while due to personal probs. He's a top bloke and pretty reasonable, so there must be something up if he's not replying to you.

 

Yeah, I know he has got personal issues, I didn't know whether that was it or not. I know his brother is involved with the business somehow as well. He would remember me as I was the one that he did a real good deal on a Unichip Q version and sent it to Australia for me. Like you said a real top guy as he has done heaps of good deals for me and I would like to buy some other stuff off him. If you could mention me to him, I'm Stephen and I live in Australia, and just let him kindly know that I have sent a couple of e-mails to him in regards to an M7 Strut Tower Bar and an Alta 22mm Rear Sway Bar That would be real good. I just talked to Justin and he is still having some problems. The website is no longer up as you know, and the business seems to be falling through. He's not sure of his e-mail server (might be down) so he told me to tell you guys to send him a PM through NAM. Keep in mind, he's very busy so he might not respond for a couple of weeks.

I am sorry to inform you of this, but please be patient as he has a lot going on right now.

That's a shame. I liked halfmoon auto. There aren't too many mini performance parts stores in Ohio(area)...now just Outmotoring and Detroit Tuned I think.

I heard a "rumor" (from a fairly reliable source) that Half Moon is closing up shop. I do wish there was a reliable confirmation.

 

Bummer - everyone always spoke highly of this merchant. I hope things turn out for the best.

 

I can confirm that HMA is shutting down, but as far as the rest, I'll let Justin tell you if he wants to. I'm meeting him for lunch on Friday.

It is very unfortunate, but he just has too much going on to run the shop, and no one else but him and his brother to run it.
