http://www.tarheelbmwcca.org/fallschool.htm

you do have to be a member but you can sign up now and still get in. spectacular school with great in car and classroom instuction. This school is on the full course 3.3 miles. More fun than you can imagine. The best $320.00 you've ever spent.

$320 for everything, or only the school? I don't see it on the site.

320 covers the school a t-shirt and two lunches. They send out the application in the monthly news letter. it has arrived. They will have the online application up in a few. the mail in date for this one is Aug. 1st. Be there or BxB.

anyone get that?

I'm gonna have to think on this. $320 is alright... But then it's ~ 5 hours away, and hotel costs...

Well worth it for one of the best tracks on the east coast. You won't regret it.. (unless it rains the whole time..)

Tarheel BMWCCA supposedly runs one of the best events in the country, and I would have no reason to disagree. The instructors are great, and it's very well run. Safety is at the top, we had no incidents at all at the last one. You pretty much have to be a BMWCCA member, and they give first shot to Tarheel chapter members, then other chapter members. They go by postmarked application, so I'll be dropping mine in the mail the morning of August 1st. There were 3 MINI's there last time, plus one instructor had one. I'd really like to see more of us out there, I felt surrounded by M3's! Come on down, VIR is excellent.

Question for onasled----
Is the picture in your sig the correct way to do a point-by ?

You want to see my videos with DSC on ??? I have them on DVD ... It is a blast !!!

My times of 3 full laps from a start vs. the field of the OLOA at the world renowned: 4 mile, 3 straight, fast ...Road America ???

22nd of 75 cars ... I had never seen the course before ...DSC was very effective

http://onelapofamerica.com/history/2...=2006&res=EV18

26th of 80 here ...at Putnam Park, Indiana ...DSC on

http://onelapofamerica.com/history/2...=2006&res=EV13

Notice the 2006 M5 with 500 HP driven by Tony Swan and TC Kilne ...they turn DSC off

As seen in July 2006 issue of ROUNDEL :

Phil,
Saw your pics in Roundel... It was great to see both you and David's cars in that mag, along with Steve Diniz at VIR (I think it was Vir). Great job to all of you for representing the Mini in such a great way..

You know I'd love to see any in-car you have...

Dropped it in the mail Aug 1st, so assuming the Postal Service is still working, I'll be there. I think they'll post the entry list around Sept 5th. You an instructor now?

The student entry list is now posted, who's going? We need more MINI's out there, all those M3's blowing by me is a little frustrating. My left arm gets tired doing all those point-by's.
