Dyno results

Well there was a dyno day at Pampena's racing out here on the Island and i put the car on to see where im at.

You can see that heat soak set in quick on the 2nd n 3rd run. Needs alil more tuning and i can see it hittin 210+whp. The curve was all over the place and the a/f was off.

You should run it on a Dyno Dynamics dyno to see exactly what it's putting down. The Dyno Jet inflates the actual numbers.

I had a dyno day last week with about 9 MINIs up here at Swift Motorsports, on their Dyno Dynamics dyno. Your numbers would still be impressive on the DD. Good to see you have your car up and running again.

The machine is Dyno Dynamics, in order to simulate the Dyno Jet, he types in a "correction" of 1.13

Thats odd.....I have people telling me that the Dyno Jet is one of the most accurate ones out there.

So your sayin these are off? Odd that these dyno's suck being this guy who owns the shop has 1 of the worlds fastest 3000gt's and id think he would wanna be accurate on his tuning for his car or anyone elses.

Have the people that are telling you that ever run on a Dyno Dynamics machine? I think what it comes down to is the actual price of the machines in question. A Dyno Dynamics unit, i'm told is around 120k as opposed to a Dyno Jet that is half that figure or less, so you probably won't see too many DD machines around. You can tune on either machine, but the DD is more real world, tires on the tar numbers.
